Elene discovered a love of words at a young age which led to a degree in Publishing and later a second degree in English Literature. She works as an editor, proofreader, teacher, and trainer and is an Accredited English Editor from the Professional Editors’ Guild in South Africa. Unfortunately, she also experienced the negative power of words in an emotionally abusive relationship. And so she’s been on an ever-evolving journey to discover how to heal those wounds and she wants to share tools and lessons with everyone around her. After being certified as a Life Coach by Achology, she’s been helping people to reconsider the story they tell themselves. She helps them to identify and let go of what no longer serves them, reframe parts that bother them, and find the words that will help them create the life they want!

"I believe in the power of words! Not only the words we choose to use with others, but especially the words we use to talk to and about ourselves. Because of this, I use a combination of traditional life coaching skills, narrative therapy, and bibliotherapy to help my clients create the lives they want. Narrative therapy helps clients separate themselves from the problem they are facing in order to deal with it more effectively. One aim is to rewrite the narrative in their minds and thereby help them to work through a problem or difficult situation.
